Ahhh gratitude and it’s balmy coasts ...
There has been a lot said about gratitude in the last couple of years and it is certainly nice to see it back in fashion.
I love this movie below and never cease to wonder at the power gratitude has in transforming any situation.
I enjoyed the movie called the Secret that this movie is promoting but I believe that real transformation takes much more than just gratitude.
If you are in an troubled relationship you will need also to learn to take action in limiting yours and your partners defensive and abusive behavior and also most likely you will need to learn to better regulate you own emotions and learn self soothing (all covered in the Love Safety Net Workbook) ...
But still gratitude is certainly a master key. Where self pity binds, gratitude liberates and gives us courage and strength, it is the warmth in the sunshine and the sincerity in a smile. How long has it been since you counted your blessings? Make gratitude a part of all your days.
